Ricardo De Genova

Ricardo De Genova has been the Senior Vice President, Global Innovation and New Business of Graphic Packaging Holding Company since July 2020. Before joining Graphic Packaging, Ricardo was the vice president of global marketing and R&D innovation for the pulp and paper business at Solenis LLC, a leading global supplier of water treatment and process chemicals. Prior to Solenis, Ricardo served as the global lead of R&D and innovation for the industrial specialties business of Ashland Specialty Ingredients. Before joining Ashland, Ricardo spent 21 years with The Dow Chemical Company in a number of international assignments in business and technical leadership positions and five years with Cargill, Inc. where he led the development of new chemistries based on renewable resources. Ricardo is a native of Brazil where he received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. He also attended the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Ricardo is the author and co-author of numerous patents and industry publications and the recipient of the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge award (sponsored by the EPA) and the Herman Stone Technical Excellence award (sponsored by the Polyurethane Foam Association).
